Scientist 9th edition

The ninth edition is decided: zero-knowledge across everything, rebuilt from the ground up.

Passkeys with device-to-device linking, no passwords. AI stays on-device or on a key you bring. macOS ships first. The plan and the threat model outline are written; the crypto spec is next.

What that decision costs is worth stating plainly. The server becomes an authenticated, encrypted, append-only log of operations per account, with a key-wrap store, a device registry and a sealed drop box beside it, so its whole job is to order events and move bytes. Everything the old server used to compute over plaintext moves onto your devices, which means Plan My Day and its learning loop, schedule generation, and every query by date or project now run where the key is. There are no dates on any of this: each phase closes when its exit test passes, beginning with the threat model and the crypto spec that everything downstream has to cite.
